Hanbury Club Manifesto

We, the proud and the few, hereby declare our devotion to The Hanbury Club. We like it a lot. We really do.
We hereby form the World Wide chapter of the Hanbury Club.

All members of the Hanbury Club may or may not abide by the following code of discipline, depending upon their state of mind at the moment of inquiry: The Hanbury Manifesto is a way of life not a rule book. All Rules must be followed at all times, with the exception of circumstances where according to Rule III section A, a member may invoke Rule III section B.

Rule I

Section A
1. This is not a fraternal organization.
2. For that matter, neither is it identical, sororal, paternal, or maternal.

Section B
1. All prospective members shall be carefully screened by the Hanbury Club Screening Committee, namely The Exec..
2. The deliberated decisions of the Hanbury Exec regarding membership is final, all prospective members shall only be considered with backing from either; 4 non-exec members or 2 exec members (see Rule I, Section A, paragraph 1).

Section C
1. All people applying for membership must join under penalty compliance with Rule III, Section B, paragraph 1.
Section D
1. No non-humans whatsoever may be admitted to the Club unless they express interest in joining and pass the membership test as dictated by the club members.

Rule II

Section A
1. All petitions for withdrawal from the Club must be screened by the Penal Director.
2. In cases of withdrawal petition submission, a Penal Director shall be appointed. The member appointed as Penal Director shall be the member who is most qualified to deal with such petitions;

Rule III

Section A
1. The Unwritten Law.

Section B
1. The Unwritten Rule.

Rule Q

Section A
1. Although dress is not an option, all members must attend meetings well dressed mentally.
2. All meals are meetings, and vice versa, except where excepted by the Unwritten Law applies(Rule III, Section A, paragraph 1).

Rule DEF

Section A
1. All amendments, specifically, but not exclusively, must be submitted in wirting by members must be approved by two or more of the Exec.
2. No amendment(s) submitted otherwise will be approved (This is not to be confused with Rule III, Section A, paragraph 1. One is, however, welcome to confuse this with Rule III, Section B, paragraph 1).

Section B
1. All amendments to the Unwritten Law (Rule III, Section A), or the Unwritten Rule (Rule III, Section B), must be unwritten

Rule LXIX

Section A
1. Life is grand.
2. Hanbury is grand.
3. Hanbury is life.
4. Life is Hanbury.

Rule Z

Section A
1. Don't mess with the Hanbury Club.
